Restorations Of Classic Porsches including 356, 911, 964 & 993
Your classic Porsche will be in safe hands with our highly-trained restoration specialists. Our experts have worked with classic vehicles from all eras of the marque including the classic 911, 964s, Porsche 993 restoration, and 356 models.
Our huge experience in restoring Porsche 911 models, from long hood pre-1973 (SWB and F model) to Impact Bumper (G model) such as the early 911 3.0 Turbo (930) and 2.7 MFI Carrera (74-76), has given us insight into the value that originality and authenticity can bring to a restoration.
Recent racing activities with our 1965 2.0 SWB car, also gives us keen insight into these early machines. Our in-house build and development of a Solex Carburated 2.0 flat-six engine saw fantastic results, with front running pace and reliability.
Whilst classic air-cooled 911s remain timeless in their value, we also see many 964 and 993 models that are now of the age and value that full restoration is economically viable. We have also restored and detailed the very special models like RS and GT2, recently a full bare chassis rebuild of a factory-built Le Mans class-winning 993 GT2R. We understand that the closest attention to detail, authenticity and period-correct specifications is required to do these vehicles justice.

Our Porsche Restoration Process
Restoration covers a broad spectrum of work that can be required on a classic Porsche model. Not only the scope of the work, but budget parameters are important factors to consider at the starting point of any restoration work.
We cater for all aspects of restoration on Classic Porsche models. Starting with simple cosmetic repairs, done to factory standards with the correct specification parts sourced from our Worldwide list of contacts – through to full bare chassis restorations, where every component is scrutinised and assessed for its condition and future use. An example of a process that we follow for a restoration project is as follows:
Step 1: Vehicle Assessment
- The vehicle’s condition is assessed and meticulously photographed for detail. We compile a report, outlining the work required and a guide budget for you to consider.
Step 2: Body Dismantlement and Repairs
- The vehicle is dismantled. Every stage of the process is carefully documented with photographs and items are collated, stored, and marked for ongoing restoration.
- Bare chassis is media blasted to expose any rust or damage requiring repair.
- Skilled craftsmen hand weld and prepare the body shell for replacement panels, parts, and bepsoke fabrication.
Step 3: Body Paint
- Once all repairs complete, the chassis is sent for media blast, epoxy primer, or e-coating and is prepared for paint application.
- The final stages of the body colour are applied and is allowed to cure for a few weeks before it leaves the bodyshop, ready for assembly.
Step 4: Parts Installation and Survey
- Sub-assemblies of removed items are prepared, ready for installation onto the chassis.
- The wiring loom is sent away for specialist build.
- A survey is compiled to ensure that all major components restored or repaired are ready for installation.
- The build starts with the wiring loom and essential ducts and pipes, so the foundations are ready for the rebuild.
- Headlining, carpets, Instruments and numerous other interior components are installed/fitted inside the car.
- The overhauled engine and gearbox is installed into the chassis.
Step 5: Final Touches
- All of the glass is fitted, and the final details on the trim and numerous seals and decorative items are finished to complete the exterior.
- We add fuel, oil and power, and the exciting day arrives when the restored machine bursts into life.
- We spend several hours road testing and preparing to handover your restored Porsche.
