Meet The Team

Tech 9 are fortunate to have a small team of core staff that have been here many years (fifteen years plus in a couple of cases), plus a young trainee mechanic who is learning from his elder colleagues. Our team, including Managing Director Phil Hindley, has extensive Porsche experience even before their time at Tech 9. The technicians have all come through technical colleges with mechanical backgrounds and have also attended specific Porsche training events over the years.

Simon Vosper

Head Workshop Technician

After joining Tech 9 in 2010, Simon quickly became the backbone of the Workshop operation. A highly experienced and fully qualified Porsche mechanic, with experience of the marque dating back to 1991, Simon enjoys the outdoor life, walking and is also a keen follower of Formula 1.

Sharon Hindley

Financial Director

Sharon ensures that all Company matters are accounted for and runs the sophisticated back-office software that manages each project and vehicle that’s booked into our Workshop. Besides also being married to Phil, she also deals with Health and Safety management and HR – she’s a busy lady!

Joe Glover

Workshop Technician

Joe joins us as a younger member of the team. He is a fully qualified Level 3 Mechanic, supported by Tech 9. Joe is fully integrated into the ‘Tech 9’ ethos of attention to detail and expert workmanship. Each day presents new challenges and the scope of work he undertakes covers the full range of Porsche repairs, servicing and restorations that pass through our doors.
