Meet The Team
Tech 9 are fortunate to have a small team of core staff that have been here many years (ten years plus in a couple of cases), plus a young trainee mechanic who is learning from his elder colleagues. Our team, including Managing Director Phil Hindley, has extensive Porsche experience even before their time at Tech 9. The technicians have all come through technical colleges with mechanical backgrounds and have also attended specific Porsche training events over the years.

Mark Evans
Parts Manager
Mark joined Tech 9 in 2005. Having trained and worked for numerous Official Porsche Centers since 1988, he has huge experience with sourcing Porsche parts. He has an all-encompassing knowledge of Porsche vehicles and is more than capable of dealing with the parts required to keep the busy Workshop flowing.
Considering that Tech 9’s workload spans the 356 generation, through SWB to LWB 911, 964, 993 and 997 models, and the broad range of Water Cooled Boxster, Cayman, 996/997/991 plus the SUVs Cayenne, Macan models and Panamera – a broad expert knowledge is essential. Mark is also a keen football fan and season ticket holder at his beloved Liverpool FC.
Simon Vosper
Head Workshop Technician
After joining Tech 9 in 2010, Simon quickly became the backbone of the Workshop operation. A highly experienced and fully qualified Porsche mechanic, with experience of the marque dating back to 1991, Simon enjoys the outdoor life, walking and is also a keen follower of Formula 1.
Peter Turner
Workshop Technician
Pete trained as a mechanic and has been involved with the Porsche Marque since 1985, He’s a keen motorcyclist and regularly flys his Paramotor in his spare time. He also enjoys Football and shares a passion for Liverpool FC.
Sharon Hindley
Financial Director
Sharon ensures that all Company matters are accounted for and runs the sophisticated back-office software that manages each project and vehicle that’s booked into our Workshop. Besides also being married to Phil, she also deals with Health and Safety management and HR – she’s a busy lady!
Kyle Bowman
Workshop Technician
Kyle joins us as a younger member of the team. He is a qualified Level 3 Mechanic, having completed his C&G course supported by Tech 9. Kyle is fully integrated into the ‘Tech 9’ ethos of attention to detail and expert workmanship. Each day presents new challenges and the scope of work he undertakes covers the full range of Porsche repairs, servicing and restorations that pass through our doors.
